[Case Study of Implementation in Autonomous Driving Systems] Heavy-Duty Dual Wheel Casters
Case study of the introduction of Blickle casters equipped with a safe braking system for autonomous driving systems (AGV units).
Blickle, headquartered and with a factory in Rosenfeld, Germany, introduces a case study of the heavy-duty double-wheel caster 'LS-GBS 82K-EMDSB-906018'. The end user required casters equipped with a safe braking system while developing a new autonomous, automatic control, self-organizing driving system (DTS). Therefore, a customized caster was developed using cast iron and forged steel mounting brackets (LS-). The caster features a very low rolling resistance tread made of elastic polyurethane, Blickle Besthanes Soft, which ensures floor protection and comfortable operability. [Challenges] - A caster with a safe braking system is required. - The load capacity per caster needs to be 500 kilograms. - Positioning accuracy must be maintained within ±2 millimeters. - The height of the main body is only 30 centimeters, limiting the mounting height of the caster. *You can download the Japanese performance leaflet. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
